Dr. Amanda J. Van Voorst is a licensed Doctor of Chiropractic serving the greater Brandon community.

Dr. Van Voorst has been freeing people from pain and improving their overall health at Brandon Natural Care Center, PC since 2004. As a Chiropractor with experience, Dr. Van Voorst is committed to promoting optimal health and well-being of  patients.

Dr. Van Voorst uses a "whole person approach". This approach to wellness means looking for underlying causes of any disturbance or disruption (which may or may not be causing symptoms at the time) and make whatever interventions and lifestyle adjustments needed to optimize the conditions for normal function. Using this unique approach, Dr. Van Voorst is able to help you to accelerate and/or maintain your journey to good health.

Dr. Van Voorst, a native of Orange City, IA, received her Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology from South Dakota State University in Brookings, SD.  She then went on to Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, MN where she completed her Doctor of Chiropractic degree in April of 2004.  One of the things that inspired Dr. Van Voorst to become a Doctor of Chiropractic is a lifetime history of chiropractic care by trusted chiropractic physicians.  She has been a chiropractic patient since the age of 10, and it has always been a part of her health care regimen.  The other main reason she was inpired to become a Doctor of Chiropractic was her passion for helping others.  "I've always loved helping people," she says, "people of all ages.  I knew chiropractic offered a valuable service, and I thought about the positive impact I could make on people's lives."

Dr. Van Voorst opened Brandon Natural Care Center, PC in July of 2004.  She is an active member of the American Chiropractic Association, the South Dakota Chiropractors Association and the Brandon Valley Area Chamber of Commerce.  She is a former adjunct faculty member at National American University in Sioux Falls, SD, and is an active member of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and the Multiple Sclerosis Association of America.
